“Little match girl” by H. C. Andersen (Titika for adoption)
Titika would be just another Greek stray cat, struggling to survive in a dangerous environment. But she really had other plans and a great will to become a spoiled, loved and cared “pet”.
She was first seen by a volunteer near her house, trapped, neutered and released back to her neighborhood. But Titika decided she didn’t want to be released. So she found out where the feeding was coming from (aka the volunteer’s house) and she moved to the yard. She was occasionally standing in front of the window, watching the house cats inside and gently knocking her paw on the glass.
It didn’t take too long for the volunteer to surrender. In a cold, rainy winter day we picked up Titika again – this time to find her the forever home she wanted so badly.
Titika is 1.5 year old, female, neutered, fully vaccinated. She was found positive in Leukemia (FelV) and negative to FIV. She is the most tender and patient cat, she never breaks anything and she becomes the happiest cat when you give her some attention and cuddles. She would be perfect with kids or with a person who is not very experienced with cats. But due to her Leukemia she should be an only cat or with other positive to Leukemia cats.
